Lisa Lewis LCSW

Hi! I’m Lisa Lewis, therapist. For the past 25 years, my expertise includes working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples facing challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at National Deaf Therapy, I am passionate about enhancing mental health and quality of life for individuals of all ages, including those in the deaf community, as I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

I believe in a person-centered approach, focusing on personal growth and self- acceptance while reducing the stigma around mental health treatment. My practice

incorporates spirituality and multiculturalism, allowing me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique beliefs and values. I hold a Master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and specialize in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
